To establish the center and continuously growing the portfolio of services offered through the center, which include: short training courses and certificates on various aspect of e-learning (i.e. instructional design, faculty development, e-learning planning, etc.), research and consultancy projects and digitization services. The position requires academic leadership which will be exercised by working closely with international centers of excellence and other organizations to accredit and recognize the center’s courses and programs as well as business leadership needed for the development of a comprehensive business model for the center.   PhD or master holder in education technologies, distance learning, education or any related area with minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role

R esponsible for the initiation and development of relationships with centre of excellence according to the strategic requirements of the continuous education department;  manage existing initiatives such as The LEAP Program and to ensure that the accreditation efforts are completed within the expected timescale; manage the transfer of know how.

Ph.D / Masters Degree in related field with minimum proven track record of outstanding achievements in similar positions.

Responsible for maintaining all learning management systems running at the college including customization and integration with other systems and application across the college.  Create and upload of course material, the support and preparation of adequate training material to equip facility, staff members and learners with the necessary skills to use the LMS and regular back up of information.

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 2 to 3years of technical experience with solid knowledge and experience on e-learning applications and field.  HTML, ASP, Graphic skills will be an added advantage.

To oversee all aspects of e-Learning production including but not limited to: developing effective and engaging instructional material delivered through various media and instructional techniques, Development and implementation of guidelines for course digitization, quality assurance and standards compliance liaison with service providers and SMEs, development and maintenance of repositories of reusable learning objects, Develop various storyboards and review produced prototypes, ensure all new e-Learning products and services meet quality and technical international e-learning standards as well as the college’s pre-set standards.  Master degree holder from an accredited university in instructional design, education technologies or computer science, with certificate in instructional design, Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Learning Management Systems, Flash Action script 2

Masters Degree in related field with minimum proven track record of outstanding achievements in similar positions.

Responsible for managing, organizing, planning and executing security related activities such that appropriate service levels are maintained.  In addition, the person will be responsible for implementing & maintaining physical security in the college viz. monitor network, CCTV security management tools, applications, software, physical and logical security of the college. 

Minimum Bachelor degree in computer science, electronic/electrical engineer or other related field of study. Minimum of 3 years working knowledge gained through as a security administrator.  CCSP certification or any security certification will be an added advantage.  Experience in LAN/WAN support and trouble shooting will be PLUS.

Preference will be given for UAE Nationals.

Responsible for developing and maintaining a detailed promotional and advertising campaign of the college includes but not limited to the maintenance and updating the development of advertising, college newsletters, and working with the Deans/Program Directors in the planning of promotional events. 

Minimum bachelors in PR & mass communication with knowledge of marketing techniques and an understanding of public relations tasks: viz.  Press releases - Press kits, Media relations, and customer services.

To administer the College English Language Centre in a way that will contribute to the achievement of the overall mission statement of the College.

• To coordinate the communications and business links with the administrations of both the IELTS and the TOEFL in terms of recognizing the College as a testing centre for these tests.
• To develop the necessary policies and practices that enhances the quality of English services of the Centre.
• To facilitate the scheduling and booking of learners’ TOEFL and IELTS test appointments.
• To set and conduct the College Placement Test for new learners.
• To conduct and deliver the Introductory and Preparatory courses for the TOEFL for new learners.
• To design and develop appropriate learning materials for the proposed courses.
• To ensure the effective use of the Centre resources.
• To help and participate in the selection and recruitment of qualified faculty members to deliver and teach the proposed courses.
• To develop brochures and advertising materials describing the English language services offered by the Centre.
• To design and conduct customized English courses for learners from government departments, companies, schools, hotels, and the like.
• To participate in English language fairs, seminars and workshops.
• To conduct workshops and training sessions, led by highly-reputed international professionals in the field of English teaching, and intended for the professional development of teachers of English language in the UAE schools and institutions.

  PhD in English language (English literature, linguistics, etc.) or related area OR       A Master degree holder with 10 years of experience and a track record of achievement might be considered with s trong computer knowledge up to the level of ICDL certification.

To ensure all procurement is fully documented in accordance with company procedures against purchase orders / Purchase Requests and contracts and to provide contractual and commercial expertise.  Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards and whole life costing. 

A Bachelors in Law, business or Economics able to work as a part of team and autonomously with minimum of 5 years previous experience in contracts administration.  Fresh UAE national graduates are encouraged to apply.

Academic duties of the qualified candidates shall include teaching, tutoring, lecturing and mentoring learners through the use of blended learning; faculty members will also be involved with curriculum design and development activities as well as academic advising. They are expected to contribute, through their own original research and their learners' research to the advancement of science and to the creation of an appropriate academic atmosphere and to provide community services.

Candidates must have proven records in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, research & administration; A PhD degree from a recognized university is a must in Business and or Total Quality Management with at least 3 years related experience.
