e-Learning Manager
Main Role

This position requires ability to take lead in e-learning research and keep update with the latest advancements in the field and to work closely with the development and operation units for the planning, overseeing and managing of adequate and supportive e-learning environment that relies on the use of the latest educational technologies to deliver learning and teaching for all member of the college / community.

To take lead for the design and development of high quality online/CD based courses to meet international e-learning standards.  To work closely with the development/operation units in evaluating, selecting, implementing and assessing virtual learning platforms that are versatile, flexible, learner-friendly which can be adapted to suit various pedagogical, learning styles and approaches.


 

Requirements
A Master's in Education Technologies, distance learning, Computer Science or any other related area with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role & e-learning content development and training is desirable.

DIRECTOR OF LEARNING AND TECHNOLOGIES
Main Role

To establish the center and continuously growing the portfolio of services offered through the center, which include: short training courses and certificates on various aspect of e-learning (i.e. instructional design, faculty development, e-learning planning, etc.), research and consultancy projects and digitization services. The position requires academic leadership which will be exercised by working closely with international centers of excellence and other organizations to accredit and recognize the center’s courses and programs as well as business leadership needed for the development of a comprehensive business model for the center.   PhD or master holder in education technologies, distance learning, education or any related area with minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role

LEARNING AND TEACHING SPECIALIST
Main Role

The candidate closely to assist the faculty members in developing instructional material and ensure they integrate latest technology in the design of various courses curricula.  The position also requires from the person to design and develop training and development programs for both faculty and academician and learners.  Main roles will be to liaise between SME’s and programmers and provide SME with necessary support for the design and development of instructional material, explore new strategies and ensure the transfer of best practices in relation to curriculum design and development, delivery and assessment, etc.

LMS ADMINISTRATOR
Main Role

Responsible for maintaining all learning management systems running at the college including customization and integration with other systems and application across the college.  Create and upload of course material, the support and preparation of adequate training material to equip facility, staff members and learners with the necessary skills to use the LMS and regular back up of information.

 

Requirements

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 2 to 3years of technical experience with solid knowledge and experience on e-learning applications and field.  HTML, ASP, Graphic skills will be an added advantage.

Main Role

SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR
Main Role

Responsible for managing, organizing, planning and executing security related activities such that appropriate service levels are maintained.  In addition, the person will be responsible for implementing & maintaining physical security in the college viz. monitor network, CCTV security management tools, applications, software, physical and logical security of the college. 

 

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor degree in computer science, electronic/electrical engineer or other related field of study. Minimum of 3 years working knowledge gained through as a security administrator.  CCSP certification or any security certification will be an added advantage.  Experience in LAN/WAN support and trouble shooting will be PLUS.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE CENTER MANAGER
Main Role

To administer the College English Language Centre in a way that will contribute to the achievement of the overall mission statement of the College.

  • To coordinate the communications and business links with the administrations of both the IELTS and the TOEFL in terms of recognizing the College as a testing centre for these tests.
  • To develop the necessary policies and practices that enhances the quality of English services of the Centre.
  • To facilitate the scheduling and booking of learners’ TOEFL and IELTS test appointments.
  • To set and conduct the College Placement Test for new learners.
  • To conduct and deliver the Introductory and Preparatory courses for the TOEFL for new learners.
  • To design and develop appropriate learning materials for the proposed courses.
  • To ensure the effective use of the Centre resources.
