Dubai: A former minister, his son and their American and Indian associates have denied deception, fraud and swindling charges when they appeared in the Dubai Court of Misdemeanours on Monday. Sources close to the investigation revealed that the Lebanese female, who claimed to have been deceived by the four suspects, has lodged a complaint in which she said she was swindled millions of dirhams in properties and shares. The claimant's family partnered with the former minister in a business group since 1995. Judge Hamad Abdul Latif read out a bill of charges on the four suspects, who all denied the charges.
