High rise in number of properties for sale in Dubai |

We started collecting statistics on Gulf News Properties adverts 6 weeks ago. And from the beginning until now, there are 50% more properties advertised for sale or for rent.

our index started with 16.000 properties (average over the week) listed for sale or rent in Dubai. Since then – the average number of properties has increased sharply and consistent. So are Gulf News getting better at selling adverts? Or is the market in general getting saturated? As you can see from the graph – this week sets the record so. This week is still incomplete, but the record is there – 35.000+ properties advertised on Gulf News. Click on the graph for a full size version.
