Visitors to Dubai from selected countries now have an easier time here. New rules from RTA means that you are no longer required to obtain a local temporary driving license to drive local registered cars.

In response to your email, please be informed that according to the new rules, you  are able to drive with your driving licensee (from the below list of countries) while you are in visit visa ,without applying for Dubai Temporary Driving License .

 

Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Austria, USA, Spain, Australia, Japan, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Portugal, UK, Belgium, Poland, Turkey, Czech Republic, South Africa, Slovakia, Singapore, Switzerland, France, Finland, Cyprus, Canada, South Korea, Luxemburg, New Zealand, Netherlands.
